You can get back in touch with nature as you watch deer from the front porch or hike in the adjacent Monongahela National Forest.
You can also enjoy scenic drives as you tour the nearby Seneca Rocks and Dolly Sods National Wilderness area and Canaan Valley is home to a National Wildlife Refuge. Another popular attraction in this area is Blackwater Falls.
