Fall Update

We have started construction at the North Fork Mountain Inn. We have built a new lower level parking lot, and a new road to the top of our mountain property. We will be building a new owners quarters at the top of the hill and a new duplex log cabin which will feature, two person Jacuzzis, fireplaces, plasma TV's, king beds, steam showers, wet bar and much more.

Since we are open year around, the lower level parking is ideal for motorcycle riders and those that would prefer to park there rather than attempt our steep driveway, especially in the winter when there is slow on the ground.

We have the pickup all tuned up and ready to plow the snow off the driveway whenever we get enough accumulation. However, I cannot think of a better placed to be snowed in. We just build a fire in the fireplace and shovel a path to the hot tub and enjoy our favorite winter beverages.

We are now taking reservations for all of the fall holidays, including Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and New Year's.

Here are some great pictures...

The Spectacular Fall Foliage

Come check out the spectacular fall foliage and Smoke Hole Canyon and the nearby Dolly Sods Wilderness changes into a beautiful array of autumn colors.

Enjoy the beautiful views from a rocker on the front porch as you sip on a mug of hot apple cider or a glass of fine wine.

Our menus will be changing to reflect the local harvests of fresh organic produce. We will be featuring an exotic array of fresh gourmet soups, entrees, and your meal would not be complete without one of Carol's delightful baked treats.

Whether you are coming for one of the nearby fall festivals or just looking for a romantic getaway, please let us know how we can make you special trip to our world unforgettable.

Come and see why this is our favorite time of the year as the days are pleasant and the nights are cool, perfect for snuggling in our comfortable beds.
